Currently, CARS is unaware of any special notification requirements for Ohio. Typically, this means notification is not required and transfer of ownership occurs when you complete the reverse-side of the title. If you do not plan on transferring the plates to another vehicle and your tags do not expire soon, you may complete a 'Customer Request to Cancel Vehicle Registration' to notify the BMV that you are no longer liable for the vehicle.
NOTORIZATION is required of the title for transfer.
*Please wait until the vehicle pick-up has been arranged before completing and/or notarizing the title.*
